”I’m writing this the day after I passed my exam. I came to Jay with absolutely zero driving experience. I am 26 (a little late to start driving) and I’d never even sat in a driver’s seat before or held a steering wheel. So as you might imagine, I was super nervous about the whole affair and initially, all I wanted to do was to stick to the small roads we practiced on. But every time Jay felt I was ready for a new challenge, despite my hesitation, he pushed me to busier roads, bigger roundabouts, motorways etc. until I was ready for my test. I realise now, that the level Jay prepared me for far exceeds the requirements of the test. Over the year, through his methodical expertise, constructive approach and very zen nature, Jay has built up my skills and confidence to an extremely advanced level. Passing my exam was, quite frankly, a breeze. He is firm when it’s required but overall, he has an exceptional talent to make you feel very comfortable and to feed your confidence behind the wheel. ”After having two previous Instructors and not passing my test I was ready to give up on driving for good. Jay took me on just six weeks before my test date and I hadn’t had any driving lessons for over a year. For the first time I gained a clear understanding of where I was going wrong and what I needed to do to fix it. Jay spoke to me so calmly and so well he just kept me cool from the start and to the end. My experience with a few driving instructors in the pass required a lot of stress and raising their voice.
